It's rough.. Alzheimer's is an ugly disease...I love her and really need some time off.. I will be having someone come in once a week soon for 3 hours so that I can take a break. I do go do errands and stuff now and leave her alone, but I stress the whole time... I am not sure where I'll go on my "breaks" since I don't like shopping and really am not a socializing type, but I guess just having some time to myself is the big plus.

I am fortunate that I haven't had to take care of a relative with that. But I had to take care of my Mom just like you for years with Congestive heart problems, diabetes, COPD and 3x a week dialysis and toward the end I was just wanting it to be over I was so tired and beaten down with the stress. So make sure you get some respite care and time for yourself.
Things here are going pretty good. My daughter got married this past Sunday so things were hectic. I have sold a few more art pieces for commercial use, woohoo
