Sorry if I can't thank you all personally.

An anomaly in this far away system, a Moon that has actual rings. This planet's companion has an actual rotation instead of being tidally locked to the planet. A fine dust, leftovers from the moon's creation, has formed rings that are barely visible unless lit from a particular angle, and only every few decades does this alignment occur.
This phenomenon has drawn visitors from all around the system. Most picnic in the desert sands on the planet Kefru in order to get the best view.

It gives me a sense of great *quiet*..something that I value in this noisy world of ours. I'm curious as to what programs you use in your artwork.

Thank you very much! For this one I use Mojoworld and the rings I made in photoshop from a tut here on dA. Most of my nebulae though are made with Apophysis and then post work and stars etc added in Photoshop.

Awesome! I really like that green-blue you used there.

Something is odd about those ridges/rocks/whatyoumacallit towards the bottom left. The moon's rings are "backwards" in a way. The parts of the rings passing in between the viewer and the moon are too close together and the parts that begin going behind the moon are too far apart. It should be the other way around.
I wouldn't describe them as "flat" in looks as Marx-paragon, but rather, like the rings tilt upward from the inside out, sort of beginning to make a funnel, lol.

Thanks!!! I am really a novice at making rings and still have a lot to learn about them. Thanks for the pointers.
As for the rock the striations are too straight, unfortunately that is a function of Mojoworld.

cool stuff. next time try and use photoshops perspective tool to add some perspective to the rings, they look kinda flat right now :p other than that nice work :)
